Duncan F Hanby-Skinner, MD




Dr. Duncan Hanby was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, where he attended W.B. Ray High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, graduating with honors in Cell and Molecular Biology, and with a minor in English. He went on to attend Medical School at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas.

After medical school, he returned to Louisiana where he completed his internship and residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at LSU Health Sciences Center – New Orleans. During his residency, he contributed to many publications and research projects on a wide range of topics. In addition to his work at LSU, Dr. Hanby participated in head and neck cancer research at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, The American Head and Neck Society, The Louisiana State Medical Society and the Lafayette Parish Medical Society. Dr. Hanby is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.

Although he provides a full range of adult and pediatric ENT care, he has a special interest in the treatment of skin cancer, allergy, sleep apnea, sinus disease and nasal obstruction.

He and his wife, Jennifer Daigle Hanby, are the proud parents of two children.
