Breigh LeBlanc Foster, MD

Dr. Breigh LeBlanc Foster, a native of New Iberia, Louisiana, graduated from New Iberia Senior High school and then received a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Louisiana State University. She completed graduate school and earned a Master of Natural Science degree with emphasis on Biochemistry from Louisiana State University.
She went on to earn her Medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana in 2007. While in Shreveport, Dr. Foster served on the admissions committee & was elected by her peers to serve as class representative and Vice President of the Student Government Association. In 2011, Dr. Foster completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana where she received the resident teaching award. She also served on the resident interview committee, the labor and delivery safety committee, and the resident education committee. She has presented her research findings at several seminars, as well as the national American College of Gynecology conference. Dr. Foster is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
After completing her residency in 2011, Dr. Foster returned home to New Iberia and joined a group practice of physicians. She was a very active member of the medical staff at Dauterive Hospital, serving as a member of the credentialing committee, member of the medical executive committee, and head of the Obstetrics Department. She was also past Treasurer, Vice President & President of the Iberia Parish Medical Society.
Dr. Foster later joined Acadiana Women’s Health Group in 2015. She provides services at Our Lady of Lourdes Womens & Children’s Hospital, Lafayette Surgicare, and Park Place Medical Center. Outside of her medical practice, she enjoys traveling, fishing, baking, and spending time with her husband, Jason and being a mother to her son, Jackson.
